The Gift of Safety Program: Addressing the Whole Spectrum of Disruptive Behaviors

The "Gift of Safety" program is a new approach for delivering active threat training to employees:
  • Addresses the whole spectrum of disruptive behaviors, from things they deal with everyday like rudeness to active threats.
  • Modular design allows employees to digest information easier and refer to it later.
  • Quick lessons improve retention and reduce training time (lesson run time between 3 to 5 minutes.)
  • Modular design allows lessons to be added, updated and removed with minimal cost. ​
Lessons are based on Addressing Disruptive Behaviors and follow Strongside's Disruptive Behavior Spectrum. Key lessins include:  
  • Lesson 1 - Introduction
  • Lesson 2 - Rudeness
  • Lesson 3 - Intimidation
  • Lesson 4 - Threats
  • ​Lesson 5 - Violence
  • ​Lesson 6 - Extreme Violence (Active Shooters)​

Program can be customized to include content, such as Violence from People You May Know (Domestic and Workplace Violence) and other types of violence. 

Customer Dishonesty Training

This is an innovative approach to maximizing impact and minimizing risk of addressing customer theft. The CDI (Customer Dishonesty Investigations) program covers topics such as:
  • Using language that impacts employee behavior.
  • Focusing on what can be done in response to theft instead of what's not allowed.
  • Stating clear expectations.
